  • The Perfect Man

For whatever reason, I promised someone I know that I'd post a list of the top qualities I look for in a man. Enjoy or ignore. :)

    Absolute Necessities
    • Honesty!!
    • Good personal hygiene
    • Gets along with my friends

    What I Want
    1. Must have goals / purpose. No lazy men, please, or guys who haven’t figured out what they want from life yet.

    2. Strong bond with and focus on family.

    3. Confident in himself. Comfortable in his own skin. Mature.

    4. Intelligent… but not have his intelligence be the first thing you recognize in him.

    5. Can be both compassionate and strong. Unafraid to show emotion.

    6. Manages conflict well.

    7. Protective of and devoted to those he loves.

    8. We share values / vision for life.

    9. Witty and has a good sense of humor.

    10. No slobs!! Respects other people and their space! This could also be called Maturity. (see a trend here?) :)

    Nice to Haves
    1. Big strong arms. Love those things!

    2. Social, gets along with most people, makes friends easily.

    3. Large expressive eyes.

    4. Reads.

    5. Travels. Enjoys exploring different cultures, not just lying on a beach.

    6. Fixes sinks, pays bills, and kills spiders.

softball and bmw’s

Apparently I’m not as healthy as I thought… Tonight Dunder Mifflin battled rival “All Starz” without home field advantage, and with only one lap around the bases, my body felt on the verge of collapse. I ended up sitting out the following inning, and finishing off the game at second base. Well, technically I finished off the game with a pop fly to left field with 2 outs and the tying run on 3rd. It really just wasn’t my night.

On the bright side, there’s a prospective buyer for my BMW coming by tomorrow. So in preparation, I spent the last couple of hours cleaning out the abyss that is my trunk… discovering vacuum attachments, aerobics clothes, and a sewing machine (which I loaned to neighboring Niagara bachelor pad so they could take advantage). The buyer is stopping by at lunch for a second look, so I’ll drive the 1.6 miles from the office to the condo to meet him. My only dilemma now is if he actually buys the thing… how am I supposed to get back to work??
